This program is designed to assist learners develop their English language, literacy and numeracy skills to use in day to day transactions and in community engagement and participation as well as for further education and employment.  The class will assist learners develop confidence by learning in a community based supportive setting. Developing the skills needed for volunteering in community and educational programs and preparation for employment.

Topics covered will include:

1. Demonstrate understanding of a simple interview
2. Participate in a simple interview
3. Recognise and interpret safety signs and symbols
