Duration: Enroll now for 2024. Will run 1 day a week – 30 weeks in addition to 100 hours of practical placement and some flexible learning.
Time: From 9:00 am until 3:30 pm.
Providing a total of 15 units: 10 core units plus 5 elective units
This course is nationally recognised and funded for those who meet requirements.
All Certificate III in School based Education Support students are required to undertake a 100 hour placement in a school setting. If an applicant is not currently working as a teachers aide then they are required to organise this placement themselves.
Once completed, this course can allow you to succeed in the following careers:
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander education worker
Indigenous language and culture teaching assistant
Education assistant ( including working with children with special needs) Language worker
Education assistant Literacy worker
Education support worker (working with children with disabilities)
Teacher aide
Concession = $200 (Tuition = $150, Amenities = $20, Materials = $30)
Funded = $800 (Tuition = $750, Amenities = $20, Materials = $30)
Fee for Service/Full Fee = $1,575 (Tuition = $1,525, Amenities = $20, Materials = $30)
