Meadow Heights Occasional Care is a modern and well-equipped facility that offers occasional care services for families in the local community. The service is staffed by qualified and experienced professionals who provide high-quality care and support for young children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Parents can access occasional care services on a casual or regular basis, depending on their needs. This service is FREE for our students.

We steadfastly endorse and uphold the rights of all children in our care to feel and be secure. Our institution maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards child abuse. Any concerns or allegations are treated with the utmost seriousness and addressed in accordance with all Victorian Government requirements. We adhere to both moral and legal duty of care obligations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children in all instances. Our focus is on early prevention, identification, and intervention to mitigate and eliminate the risks of child abuse.
At Meadow Heights Occasional Care, our staff undergo rigorous training and are dedicated to continuous education. This ensures their comprehensive understanding that child safety is a shared responsibility.
Furthermore, we actively promote an inclusive environment that fosters the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, as well as those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with disabilities.
The Youth Clubhouse is an after-school program designed to provide young people aged 10 to 25 with opportunities to create, design, explore and connect through technology. The program is run by a team of mentors and volunteers who are passionate about helping young people to develop skills in areas such as programming, robotics, graphic design, music production, and video editing.
In addition to developing technical skills, the Computer Clubhouse aims to help young people build critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that are essential for success in the 21st century. The program also provides opportunities for young people to connect with industry professionals and explore career pathways in technology and related fields.
Homework Clubhouse is an after-school program designed to support young people aged 12 to 25 years old in achieving their academic and personal goals. The program is run by a team of dedicated mentors and volunteers who are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow and learn.
At Homework Clubhouse, young people can get assistance with their homework, including understanding difficult concepts and developing effective study strategies. The program also provides opportunities for young people to explore their interests and passions through extracurricular activities, such as clubs, sports, and arts and crafts.
Maternal and Child Health Care (MCH) is an essential service provided to support families with young children in the local community. The MCH nurse is a qualified and experienced professional who is available to provide support, guidance, and advice on a range of topics related to child health and development.
Overall, the provision of a trained nurse helps young parents put their doubts at ease. Caregivers, who are valuable resources, are also qualified to evaluate the overall health of children and offer advice to address their issues. This can provide children with a healthy start and improve their well-being.

Immunisation is an important part of protecting children against serious illnesses such as measles, mumps, rubella, and whooping cough, and is a crucial part of maintaining community health. By providing immunisation services, Meadow Heights is supporting families in the local community in taking an important step towards protecting their children’s health and well-being.
The immunisation services provided at the centre follow the National Immunisation Program schedule and are administered by qualified and experienced nurses. The service is available to all children under the age of 19, and no appointment is necessary.
1st Thursday of every month 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm (evening)
3rd Wednesday of every month 9:15 am – 1:00 pm (morning)
